Where have I bean ??
Well February has come and gone, and now it is March and we continue to March into the future unknown !
I took some time the last couple weeks to really start looking into what I want to do as an artist and some of the goals I have wanted to accomplish for some time.
Some of those goals have been met, and that is something I can be proud of. I also want go grow and continue to set goals for myself.
One of those goals has always been to create youtube videos and create art content that will entertain people but also document my progress, processes and growth as an art creator. I spent a long time overthinking the first video I did, for weeks. When I finally unloaded it to youtube, it was a relief! I will say I did pick a large project to start out with, and the aptly titled "biggest indigenous art collab" is on my channel for your viewing pleasure. Jonathan Thunder now has the wooden panel, and will be adding his contribution to the art and picking the next artist to send it to. If you haven't checked it out yet, please go watch it !
I also made my 2nd video, a much shorter easier video for myself to edit and upload. This one is called "I make a small painting w new markers" where I try out some supplies my brother got for me.
Today I reviewed my Patreon account, and added some tiers. I am hoping to get all this organized , so I can launch it for April.
I have so much going on lately that I am overwhelmed, so I am also going to step back from the local art committee I volunteered for during winter. I would love to be helpful in that arena, however I just feel so stressed out about trying to be useful as well as complete my work for my website and art goals.
I also signed up for an event in June that is a few states away and requires a lot of planning ! It will be the farthest I have gone to be an art vendor, and the longest I will have to be away from all of my dogs, something I am already dreading.
In conclusion, I have made myself busy by doing the things I want to, and may have bit off more than I can chew with some projects. I have to stay on myself w organizational disciplines and actually keep some sort of a schedule
Hopefully by continuing to work hard , I will be able to accomplish more and more of my creative goals.
