For Real this time !

April has been a long month, and seems to be the month of avoidance ! I have avoided doing most of the tasks I had planned for this month.

However , I was lost in my emotions and grief for a couple weeks and feel like it was a necessary break.

Despite the amount of time spent not doing much , there are still many things to talk about.

On the 16th I attended a Sunday Salon at The ArtBeat of Hayward, and was honored to read 2 of Artist and Poet Jerry Kirk’s poems ! Also presenting her watercolor portraits at the gallery was Donna Post. It was a very thoughtful event as it did touch on some deep subject matter such as death. I look forward to another event like this.

AYACON is creeping up on us and looming in the mind as I sit and do not much, I realize that I need to also be mindful of the schedule i do NEED to keep in order to be a successful artist. I lack organizational skills at times and other times it comes easily.

I hope that in the next week I find some miracle energy, and able to organize and motivate myself to get some tasks finished.

The color show will be opening next month and the theme is “black and…”. I am going to submit a 12x12 painting I did on a black primed canvas.

My patreon is live and I will be posting the items for patrons as they get completed, I am still learning this platform , so bear with me until I get more cohesive w the way it works.
